Not going to look at the bigger picture - just going to take smaller steps to the ultimate goal :)

Windy...

yup - it's bloody windy outside.

Had a nap after the kids went to school - god knows I needed it, I have the WORST sleeping pattern that I need to snap out of! Woke up at 12pm, planned to do some baking, but then hubby got up and said "let's go to the mall..." So off we went.

Got a $50 Westfield gift voucher for the receptionist that's leaving his work today...hubby has the evening off as we have been invited to her farewell drinks...which we still don't know when or where it will be...just know it's after their works hours. It's only the office staff that are invited, which is only about 5 people...so pathetic...hubby is invited cos he holds an important position at work...*rolls eyes* I'm invited cos I 'know' her...but I'm sure the big boss regrets inviting me LMAOooOoo...I'm going cos I don't give a fark what anyone thinks of me, and I'm not going to not go and let them think I'm not upto showing my face, or that I have something to hide - hell NO...I'm above that, they are nothing to me...thank you very much :) lol

So we had lunch, shared a seafood platter from LJS...YUMMY...more than enough too!! Hubby struggled to finish it...didn't have to lol.

Bought some shirts for the boys from Hallenstiens who were having a sale. meet up with my cousin Helen who was out doing some shopping with her nieces and nephew who are here on a 2 week holiday from Samoa. She doesn't have kids of her own and I know she spoils these kids - GOOD ON HER!!! I'm sure the kids know how lucky they are to have an awesome aunt!

Miss 14 has made it into the Samoa group at school (they have trials as it's very popular) they have a 'live in' out in Te Atatu this evening starting at 8pm. The Polyfest that they will be performing at is in 5 weeks time, and they are extremely competitive...this is the first of 2 live -in's they have planned. So somehow we need to figure out how she will get there, I'm thinking we should just take all the kids to the inlaws after school...go to the farewell drinks, then at 7:30pm leave (cos they aren't exactly the kinda people we'd want to drink with anyway - bunch of DRY NUTS LMAOoOo) then pick miss 14 up and take her to her live in. That's the best plan (my plan) but I'm sure hubby will have his own ideas...stay tuned - we'll see :)

Have washed the jeans I got yesterday - they still smell like farkin HIPPY lmao. So in the wash they go again!! I refuse to smell like MUSTY OLD PINK SMOKER LOLLIES BLURRKKKK!!!

4:30pm - I've added a couple of 'tickers' to my blog. The first one, is a count down to our trip to Samoa, which if you haven't caught on by now, I am VERY excited about! The second one is a weight loss goal of 10kgs...I've been around the 100kgs mark for the past 3-4 months (I think...) and it's all my fault of course...bad habits, lazy...blah blah blah...

I am certain that once I start my course I WILL lose weight again...being kept busy etc...not at home all day...get bored, check out the fridge...*sigh* you know the routine :(

One more week of this staying at home then my course starts!! I'm so excited about it :) All the things I hope to learn! Next week I am going to focus on my sleeping pattern. I'm also going to set a new routine for the kids (and me) as my course starts at 9am, I'll need to leave home at 8:30am, even though hubby or lil bro will be home depending on what shifts they are on, I want the kids to be out of the house and off to school when I leave, if not before!

So I'm going to write up a new routine and there is no reason why we can't start getting into it next week...iron out what works and what doesn't. I love doing these sorts of things...organising etc...I'm a super woman at doing it BUT I need to work on sticking to it LOL. So it will be as much a challenge for me as it will be for the kids.

They aren't so bad now, but the is always the child that forgets something, can't find something...and that needs to stop.
