Feeling great this morning!! Full of 'get up 'n' GO'!!
Took the kids to the shop this morning to buy lunches (naughty me I know lol) came home and got straight into things, vacuumed the house, did the dishes, brought inthe laundry, did more laundry, will hang out laundry, fixed the shelf in the panty and organised the shelves again...
have taken out 2 bacon and egg pies for diner...will prolly have mashed potato with them?
Have work at 1pm today...
Am going to the mall shortly to pick up two shrugs/bolero tops from Pagani. They didn't have the size I wanted when I went in a couple of weeks ago, so they had to order them in - good people :)
Have spoken to hubby and my lil bro about big brother - and I was right - little bro must have just gone along with the topic of getting a tattoo - big brother is all reved up (as he usually does get when HE wants something) but he's not 100% - lil bro understands there is a hell of a lot more to it than 'just' getting tattooed. It's not the phsical pain - that's just half of it - it's more about the mental pain...
Anywhoo...like I said, show me the money. lol
It's a gorgeous day today!! Cool morning breeze, blue skies. Clean house - love this!!
Oh and it's pay day - so of course that must be adding to my GOOD MOOD LMAOooOoo
12pm - have been to the mall - was only supposed to buy the two shurg/bolero thingies that I had ordered in...but then I remembered that today is...
my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of when I had my GASTRIC SLEEVE!!
So I splashed out on the sale rack (LOVE sales don't you??) and ended up with an extra 4 tops - which ALL look DAMN GOOD ON me I might add :) One of the tops are a sz 18, the other 3 are sz 16 and the 2 shurugs are a sz 14 - which I bought to store away for winter, they are the best thing for disguising BAT ARMS what comes with 50+kgs weight loss!!
I already have 2 that I live in at the moment - so they'll do me till winter AND then hopfully by winter I will be down to a sz 16-14 - cos at the moment I am a sz 18-16.
So yep - just relaxing now till I start work at 1pm - will leave home just after 12:30pm.
Back from work and hey...I handed in my notice. I had to...and they were really good about it, nto sure at this stage, but I may not have to go back next week :) This might be it :) But I'll still get next weeks pay - is that sweet or what? Nothing is confirmed though, just that I have given notice and said if I need to work for the next couple of weeks then that's ok...I made it clear that it's just this role that I can't do cos of my course...but I am available for any other work :) Which also reminds me, I've been offerend work on Saturrday night *yay* and it works out well cos high tide is at 11:20am, so we'll be back from fishing by 2-3pm...then I'll get plenty of sleep for the evening :)
9:15pm - poor miss 9!! We had just had diner, I'm sitting on the computer, next thing miss 9 runs through the lounge and straight into the toilet...then she starts screaming and crying...I run to her, and take her to the bathroom, proceed to wipe the blood off her toe - and then I see FLESH!!
Realised this was more than a 'wipe - band aid - pamol' situation, and carried her onto Miss 14's bed - colsest room.
All the kids hung around her while I called hubby to come straight home, Miss 9 needs to go to the doctors and he had the car...
Carry miss9 into the lounge, wet flannel to wipe all the blood...hubby turns up, we take her to the doctors...straight through to the nurses bay...all the while miss 9 is very dramatic - fair enough.
She got x-ray - BROKE THE TIP OF HER BIG TOE!! Got 4 stitches to her two wounds where the flesh had litterly POPPED out of!! Ewwww!! More pamol and some antibiotics.
She was very dramatic but very brave all the same. When we got home, mr 7 & 12 were very concerned...they had even managed to clean her room while we were at the doctors - Mr7's idea!! How sweet is that - and it's SPOTLESS!! And miss9's room is the messiest room inthe house - she lives in a pigsty!! Paper everywhere!! Clothes everywhere....toys, books everything and anything, strewn all over the floor!! But it's spotless now and I think that is just the sweetest think in the world!!
Now Miss9 is laying down on the couch, Mr7 sitting at her head comforting her - I'm actually overwhelmed by his obvious love and affection for his big sister!! He even got her a hotwater bottle...
So she'll be off school tomorrow obviously and prolly friday too...have promised her a couple of magazines tomorrow.
So there's another rather dramatic end to the day...oh and we ended up having homemade chicken burgers and hot chips for diner...
Mr 7: Maea, how do you feel?
Miss 9: Yeah...little bit
Mr 7: Do you think you can come to school tomorrow?
Miss 9: No, I have to go and get the bandage changed.
Mr 7: Which doctors?
Ahhh...sooo sweet.
