am up early to wake miss 15 up for school. She usually gets a ride every morning from her Grandpa, who arrives at about 7:15am. But every wednesday, school starts at 9:30am, and it's when my SIL (yes MY SIL who is a few months younger than my daughter LOL) has Lacrosse training, so they still leave home just after 7am so they can be at school by 8am. Grandpa usually without fail calls our house at 6:30am to wake her up...wakes me up too :(
So he called this morning and I told him it's ok, she can catch the school bus. So she gets to sleep in all of 30mins lol. The school usually leaves at 7:15am, today it will leave at 7:40am. WOW lol. All I know is THANK GOD I don't have classes in Auckland CBD and that hubby works down the road (10min walk). What a waste of 'time' sitting in traffic every morning...
Anyway, I didn't take myself to bed till well after 11pm, and I'm tired now. I've been up for at least 30 mins and I have no urge to have a smoke, so a good start to my day :)

6pm - here's the top I designed/made up today...simple raglan style (I love raglan sleeves - really comfy to wear and I reckon they're figure flattering :)
Love this one so much, that I'm going to buy some merino fabric tomorrow and make one up - I NEED some winter clothes!!

ReplyDeleteI agree with the not sitting in traffic, I used to live in Auckland then Wellington and had to commute in both cities, now I am in Palmerston North and it takes me two minutes on my little scooter to get to work
