Yep - started on the top that I designed...really exciting making the pattern up for it...it's actually a REALLY easy style to make...could be a best seller *huge grin*
I'm making the 'sample' out of a light purple/pink two way stretch lycra blend fabric...was $8m down to $4 so can't loose :) Will make the 'good' one out of a c-thru animal print fabric with a black lycra blend waistband and trim...really excited about that - have a 21st b'day that I am most likely going to this weekend, would be nice to have a really cool top to show off my talent with :)
Might get some orders lol *wink wink*
Dad has gone to his sisters for the week...
Hubby started work at 9am - he finishes tonight at 11pm - he's a bloody work-aholic!! *sigh* he pays the bills though, so can't complain...poor guy - really makes me look forward to our trip to Samoa even more...he NEEDS a break!
Tomorrow I will finish the top I started today - will def get started on the animal print one...and most likely finish it too...easy to sew...twas the making of the pattern that took most of the morning in class.
Not sure what I'll make next...prolly a fitted jacket...that's gonna be a challenge as it will be fully lined...but after the simple pants, skirt and top I have made, I need a challenge...REALLY looking forward to making MORE tops...and selling them!! YAY!! Will get some sold before we go on holiday, so that means INCOME!! Much needed since I quit my job...which to be honest, is a bit of a struggle BUT I am sooo happy with the decision to do my course...I can see LOTS of dollar signs in my future lol...AND hello...I LOVE DOING THIS!!
