nothing really achieved.
Put the xmas tree down, did a lil bit of grocery shopping.
Hubby's mowing the lawn.
I'm cooking diner.
Still eating crap - just not so much of it.
Spent most the day in bed reading a book and napping.
5:30pm now. Diner is almost cooked, having spicey mince wraps with salad.

disgusted with myself :(
absolutely disgusted - so much so that I can not bring myself to post or update my weight!!
The past two weeks has seen me NIBBLE like a crazy women and everything BAD!!
The result...we'll I gained two kgs!! 2 FARKIN KGS!! I made it upto 99.4kgs!! When I got back from Samoa three weeks ago I was down to 96kgs...today I am 98.something again...got my period too last night, so that also contributed to the non-stop hunger! Then being Xmas and all that - there is sooo much JUNK food around the place it's not funny!
One of hubby's brothers gave us a whole BOX of chit chats, AND a whole box of Squiggles AND a whole box of Toffeepops!! BIG mistake!!
Then on Xmas eve, SIl made us smoked salmon, cream cheese on piklets - BIG MISTAKE!!! Yesterday I bought some and made some...OMG...a friend gave us a huge basket of goodies...kids got chocolates...I'm gonna need the will power of an Ox to overcome all this shit!!
I feel realy fat! The loose skin gets to me some days...I got a $50 gift voucher for Just Jeans...went in yesterday and I don't like a single thing in the store!! And...they only go upto a sz L, so a little on the small side for me at this stage BUT I didn't like anything there anyway, and I already have sooo many clothes it's not funny!! Anywhoo...still been constipated. My left boob has been hurting for the past 3-4 months - I thought it was just my bra, but finally clicked last night that it isn't...just feels bruised on one side - can't feel any abnormal lumps - but I MUST go to the doctors and get this checked out...actuallyhave lots of things to get sorted. need somemore heartburn meds too.
1:15pm and I haven't done jack crack today! Nothing - nada - zilch. My lower tummy feels so tender, seconda day of my period - I hate feeling like this. The boys have been playing their PS3 all day so far. I

Well I've been a busy bee!!
SHOP TILL YA DROP!!
That's what I've been doing for the past week leading upto Christmas...
Hubby's immediate family have a 'club' where we put $20 a week into - money is to be used to for 'things' that crop up...this year, we have decided to give hubby's parents $150 each, all the kids $100 each...and for the adults we are doing a Secret Santa, $100 limit using our own money.
So, hubby got his brother, I got hubby's cousin ( who is like a brother which is why he is included in our club) and my brother ( who is really close to the inlaws lol) got hubby's sister. Well, both men didn't know what to get...so I dedided what gift they should get their person...
SIL I got 2 tops from City Chic and a huge gold photo frame with three pics...one of her FIL, two of her and FIL...fil passed away a couple of months ago, she worked full time AND looked after him too...he was 79yr old, paralised, so bed ridden and totally dependant on 24 hour care which my inlaws provided as he lived with them...but anyway, I'm the photographer in the family and the pics are really neat...she's gonna LOVE that!!
BIL I got a Rubbermaid chilly bin with dual lid and wheels...bought a gas mate set of bbq'ing untensils as I know someone just bought him a flash bbq!
Cousin I got a tackle box and filled it with sinkers, hooks and other fishing bits n bobs lol.
I've also done a lot of shoppign for myself...clothes!!
One of hubbys cousins work at Jeanswest...40-60% off people!! How could I resist!! I bought about 8 tops for myself! All size L and XL. Last night I bought me two pairs of shorts from Suzzanegrae(sp) both sz 16!! And when I bought SIl's tops from City Chic, I bought myself a GORGEOUS white off the shoulder top...size S LMAoooOo Ok, so their sizing are way off...it's a plus size store, so their size Smalls are reall a sz 16? The lady reckoned it was the last top of that style left in NZ and so many ladies had come in to try it on but it didn't fit...but hey presto - it fit me like a glove!! i felt like cinderella LOL.
The kids have all been totally spoilt!! Hubby and my bro went halves and bought our boys a Playstation 3. They choose a game each with their $100 from teh family and spent the rest of it on toys at the toy shop. Miss 8 got an Ipod Nano which doesn't just play music, it also takes pics and video...can you tell I'm not a tech geek...I wouldn't know an apple ipod from a red delicious LMAO.
Oh and on Tuesday my eldest brother was released from prison...*sigh*...anyway, I went down to Huntly to pick him up, took him all the way to Auckland CBD to an organisation that helps set them up...had a couple of hours to spare so asked him what he wanted to eat for lunch - first meal out and all...and he said KFC LMAOooOOO!! So off we went, straight to the nearest KFC...had a really good time to be honest. Glad I did that for him. I gave him $30 for his xmas gift to help him out a bit. he was very greatful for that. He called me later that night to tell me about his new place...and to tell me his new land line number. So far so good...dunno if he's changed or not, time will tell I guess. I just know that he's really manuipulative and cunning...so as long as I don't fall for his 'feel sorry for me shit' I should be all good lol.
Hmmm what else has been happening? Well, my vege garden is looking AWESOME!! Picked my first lebanese cucmber this morning...been picking fromt he spinich for the past two weeks! The money I have saved on buying spinich alone has more than paid for all the vege that I bought to plant!!
My weight is stuck at 98.'whatever' kgs...and I don't see any change in that over the next couple of days with xmas and what-not!

ok so my trip...
We arrived in Samoa on a thursday morning at 10:30am local time. Were greeted by the warm rush of hot tropical air as we steped off the plane...I always remind myself to prepare for that first rush of hot air :)
We were able to rush through customs and what-not as we had mum with us who was in a wheelchair *yay mum lol*
Managed to get a taxi van into town (remember it was me, my 14yr old daughter, my younger bro, two cousins and two nieces) Fit all our luggage into the van also...taxi into Apia was $80WST but we chose to pay $90 for all the luggage we had with us :)
Dropped one of my cousins off to an aunts house a coupleof minutes from mum's place in town, then we proceeded to mum's place...it's a work in progress...but it's out little slice of paradise and I LOVE IT!!
Got unpacked and taxi'ed into town $5 WST, went straight tothe markets, bought woven hand held fans to help survive the heat, bought a drinking coconut each...bought a pair of jandals for everyday wear for $6 WST lol. Went back home, had a cold shower (no other option actually as mum (and 99% of Samoa) don't have hot water lol) and of course by the time you've dried off (I prefer to air dry lol) you start to sweat again...sooo humid - but I LOVE IT!!
Spent the first two nights in town, then shared a taxi van with my cousin and her two daughters to Lalomanu (mum's village where my parents are based).
Arrived there late morning, managed to buy a whole bag of pawpaws on the way ($7 WST for about 10 large pawpaws!!) Spent our first evening relaxing.
The next morning we woke up around 8am (actually I was awake at 5am but just lay in bed relaxing, finally got up, had some pawpaw for breakfast, got dressed for church at 9am, had extended family lunch straight afterwards...I could only eat the chop suey...and not much of it cos I had been nibbling at dad's fish he was cooking for him and mum back in their house. Anyway, the ice cream truck went past so I used that as an excuse to escape...spent the rest of the afternoon in mum's house....in and out of the shop...
The next morning I was up at 5am, woke up my daughter and two nieces if they wanted to go for a walk to the beach, they did...so off we went, only takes couple of minutes to walk to the beach...by 5:30am, I was having a swim with my 11 yr old niece...swam for about 30 mins - water was absolute heaven!! The girls had a ball!
Got back to mum's house, had a shower got dressed and got ready. Today both my parents, my brother, little sister, myself and my daughter were all going into Apia for lunch - my shout. Went to a place called Seafood Gourmet...I didn't order, knew I couldn't finish anything so I just nibbled off everyone's plates, but basically I only had two prawns, bits of cucumber and couple of fries. Lots of juice though...that was a lovely place to eat, mum and dad enjoyed it!
My daughter and I were supposed to farewell Lalomanu on Tuesday morning and spend the rest of our trip in Apia, but we decided to stay on in Lalomanu for another two nights to be with my mum, help her out with a lunch she was hosting for a friend who was visiting from Ozzie.
Really glad I stayed on...had a great heart to heart with my mum, each evening we'd sit out on the verandah and talk, just the two of us, on one of these evenings, I broke down into tears and told her how much I loved her, and how thankful I was that she had raised me the way she did, and that if something happens to her while I am not there, that she is to know that I love her soooo much...and thank you for being the best mum I could ever had asked for, even though as a youngster I was rebelious...didn't appreciate what she had done for me...the sacrifices she made...I told her how I admire her so much....
Was a really special night, am glad that I have had the chance to tell her all that I did.
Wednesday we went into town, not to mum's place but to a cousin/friends house...actually she was working so we met up for lunch, she took us to a flash little cafe...it was mostly panini and other fancy bread sandwiches toasted, filled with all sorts of exotic ingredients...I opted for the 'side dish' of mediteranian meatballs, three large meatballs in a totmato based sauce...I managed to eat 2 of them. Also ordered an iced coffee...I couldn't even do half of it - was thick of ice cream...
We spent four nights with them...thurs & fri when she went to work, we caught a ride into town with her, walked aorund the market, then spent the day at mum's place in town as dad was there with my bro putting up the weatherboards on the extention....we'd had lunch with my friend, then diner we had back at her place.
Thursday night, we spent the evening with a couple of her girlfriends, the house we were at was up on a hill in an exclusive part of Apia...I;m talking million dollar homes with views to kill for...a side of Samoa you have to see to believe!! Spent the evening sipping away on the 42Below feijoa vodka that I got dutyfree...our host served us a huge platter of sashimi (with wasbai & kikoman sauce)...thought I was in heaven!! Just a perfect evening!! Got home around 2am - I was buggered!

OMG - did I die and go to heaven!!! Lobster for sunday lunch!! YUMMMY!!!
Walk along Lalomanu beach at 5am...watching the sun rise.
Tropical fever - starting to loose my mind...lol. Even when it rains it's HOT! Felt good for the ol' sunburn!
I'm back...and feeling FANTASTIC!!!
So I got back on Tuesday evening, glad to be back in my hubbys arms, with the kids, but missing my mum and the warm tropical weather like mad :(
Had a fantastic time...so much to blog about, so many plans for the new year...
The weight I have lost made my trip PERFECT - I felt good, looked great in my outfits, had ENERGY to burn - even in the hot humid weather!! LOVED IT!!! So many compliments too about my weight...just an awesome trip!! And hello...my weight is down to 97.9kgs. That seems a little surreal to me...don't know whether to laugh or cry!
